2010 Co. Binding Company Bindings
DESCRIPTION:
The Co Binding is now an open toe for 2010! We didn't think that it was fair to those who still prefer to ride with there "toes out" to have to compromise in quality, so we decided to introduce a new open toe design that we feel is the best option in its category. No shortcuts, and no fluff. It comes standard with all of the same F.I.S. plate system features as our high end closed toe bindings, and still delivers a high performance comfort and fit. fantastic!
Features:
F.I.S. (Freedom Interface System) new for 2010, the F.I.S.. chassis system is performance defined! our team of designers broke the mold, and developed a system that is unmatched in responsiveness, hold down strength, and added maximum stance flexibility.
D.C.C. (Direct Connect Clamps) heel lift is a troublesome issue that wakeboarders have dealt with for years. Our solution for heel lift back in 2009 was a snowboard inspired 4 hole insert pattern that attached thru the boot liner. We kept the design benefits of 4 hole, but developed a more user friendly system by moving the attachment points to the outside of the chassis. Made from 7075 forged aircraft aluminum, the direct connect clamps extra wide design creates that “locked in” feel by virtually eliminating heel lift. Direct connect clamps not only mimics 4 hole hold down, but allows for on the fly adjustability. this new system let’s riders determine their exact stance angle, even while adjusting the boot toward the heel side and toe side of their board.
D.T.B. (Dynamic Transfer Bridge) on most “baseless” systems, impact loads can literally flex the chassis to the point of no return. D.T.B. spreads load from one side of the chassis to the other, virtually eliminating any unnecessary stress on any one given point in the chassis, all while preventing the outer walls of the boot from deforming outward during hard landings.
AR.2 (Aluminum Reinforced Rail) made from 7075 forged aircraft aluminum, ar2 channels working in conjunction with direct connect clamps virtually eliminates heel and toe lift. less lift equals better rider input, and makes for one responsive ride. ar2 channels also perform as the “slide rail” for the freedom interface system.
Tri Density Insole: Our 3d molded liner bottoms are made with impact reducing materials, combined with a 3d molded eva insole which helps absorbs even the harshest impacts. built in drainage lets water flow from the inner core to the outside, and minimizes water retention...then add a little extra hold down with some monkey grip, and our insoles will be hard to beat.
Double Lasted Uppers: The shell of our uppers are wrapped around the performance features of the liner, and then both are bonded to the F.I.S. chassis system. The result is a thin, lower profile fit that allows for tons of board feel. It's cool because you know the technology is still there, but things stay super simple and clean.
Ankle Flex Zones: By adding a flex zone at the ankles, we reduce upper distortion creating a fluid flex feel while maintaining fit and rider input response.
Quick Tech:
-Open Toe
-Dual Lace Zones
-Custom Fit Liner = form fitting over time
-Low Profile Baseplate = less weight & lower profile equals more feel
-3d Stretch Zones = allows for ejection on hard impacts
-Integrated J-Bars = a better fit, means a better ride
-Spring Loaded Lace Locks = helps ensure that your laces stay tight
-Glide Laces Guides = reduces friction, and easier to fine tune
-6 in. Insert Spacing Configuration
-Levels = Entry Level / Intermediate
