Fixed Boot – These are usually
just an overlay or series of overlays that stay constantly the
same size, hugging your ankle for a snug fit. They offer stiff
ankle support and are good for all levels of wakeboard riding.
They tend to be harder to get on and off.
Lace-Up Boot – Since the advent of laces into
the wakeboard bindings industry, getting in and out of wakeboard
bindings has been made easier. Front lace-up wakeboard bindings
offer a fully adjustable feel over the entire front of the
foot. Velcro straps help secure the foot in the back of the
binding while the laces adjust the front. Rear lace-up wakeboard
bindings have a series of laces running up the back of the
boot and an overlay system in the front.
BOA System - The BOA system allows you to turn a
knob and tighten the lacing system around your foot for a
precise fit. The wakeboard bindings are interlaced with surgical
steel wire for a complete tightening system. There are major
benefits to this technology such as ease of entry/exit and
a customized tight or loose feel.
