The 10 finalists:
The 10 finalists riding video along with an additional interview-style
"personality" video submission showcasing each finalist's
true form off the water will be evaluated by the entire Liquid Force
Pro Team who will select a Grand Prize winner to join their ranks.
The Contest will open for submission on June 1, 2010 and will
close at 11:59pm EST on August 15, 2010(details to be provided
to the fianlists).
The Winner will be announced at Surf Expo 2010
in Orlando, Florida September 11, 2010. This opportunity is open to
riders of all types including wakeboarders, wakeskaters, winch riders,
cable riders, etc.
The Global Rider Search v.2 Winner will receive the following:
A full one year unpaid sponsorship from all partners and sponsors
including boards, bindings, wake vests, ropes, handles and apparel
provided by Liquid Force and footwear provided by Reef.
The Grand Prize Winner will also receive a full
shop sponsorship from Ambush Boarding Co. and BuyWake.com.
Additionally,
The Winner will be featured in a full-page BuyWake.com ad in Alliance
Wakeboard Magazine accompanied by a "rider check out" article
combined with additional corresponding media exposure.
As a special
bonus, the Grand Prize Winner will receive paid rider entry to all
2011 Pro Wakeboard Tour stops (upon qualifying), as well as paid entry
to both the WWA Wakeboard Nationals and the WWA Wakeboard World Championships.
