2018 Nautique Masters at Callaway Gardens

Well we did it again…we survived another fun filled weekend at the Nautique Masters at Callaway Garden with industry friends, Athletes, and family!  We were pretty sure the rain would keep us down, but thankfully we only got hit with rain once or twice for a short amount of time.  Robin Lake went off with the best crowd cheering on the most elite athletes in the world!

Cheers to all that competed this year and we can’t wait to be back next year!  Congrats to Reed, Meagan, and  Harley on their wins!  Stars on the water,  warriors in the sun!  Big thanks go out to all the Nautique crew who put on this event and our Hyperlite support from Ebev and Mike!

Here is the shuv Indy that sealed the deal on my Masters win yesterday. Winning Masters is very unique, having so many towed watersports legends surrounding you makes it a truly special feeling. Thanks Nautique for including wakeskating in such an awesome event for so many years. 🤙🏽 @rockstarenergy @ronixwakeboards @supra_boats @mossyoak @sesitec @perfski #wakeskate 🎂 also, thanks @macncheeserulez for making me a toe cake, you the real mvp. 🙌🏻 📷: @wakeboardingmag @garrettcortese Read More >

Yardsale II Video Is Live

Today Rockstar released the highlight video for Yardsale II that went down at April 27th and 28th at the Valdosta Wake Compound.  Watch the main event video now.  Be looking for the team video edits to be dropping next week.

Yardsale II at Valdosta Wake Compound

If you were at Yardsale last year at Valdosta Wake Compound then there was no way you would miss out on this year’s Yardsale II.  This year’s format consisted of a main event on the full size cable combined with a six group video contest all going down in a three-day time span.  Yardsale II did not disappoint!

Friday was a full day of qualifying for the main event with regional riders and international riders all gunning for the top spot to get into the main show.  Our homie Brock Baker from Texas put in DOWN in his run and barely missed out to Dary Znebel, proving his level of talent.  We can’t wait to see more of him this season.  By the end of the day everything was set for the main event, but we couldn’t call it a night without a killer party.  Trust us…the party was all time. 2017 Nautique Wakeboard Nationals

What a wild four days of wakeboarding competition we had here in Acworth, Georgia!  The worlds best Wakeboarders descended upon Lake Allatoona for the 2017 Nautique Wakeboard Nationals and it was nothing short of action packed.  BuyWake Team Riders Harley Clifford, Mike Dowdy, and Noah Flegel topped the Podium for a full BuyWake sweep and each took home arguably one of the coolest trophies.  The Wakeskating was a little touch and go due to the conditions on the water, but Reed Hansen came out on top and proved once again he knows how to compete no matter the conditions.  On the women’s podium BuyWake Team Rider Nicola Butler came in second place just behind Nautique Athelete Meagan Ethell who charged it all day to take the win. 2017 Nautique Masters at Callaway Gardens

The 58th Nautique Masters

This past weekend we traveled to Pine Mountain, GA, to Callaway Gardens to attend the Masters Water Ski and Wakeboard Tournament presented by Nautique.  Ambush Board Co. has been at this event for 20 years with a merch tent with one of the best views of the action on Robin Lake.  Going into the weekend everyone was buzzing about what would the Pro Men’s Wakeboard podium end up looking like.  We got to see a four man final of Tony Iacconi, Cory Teunissen, Harley Clifford, and Mike Dowdy, and it was absolutely mental!  We predicted a Harley vs. Dowdy showdown and after seeing Cory crush it we knew it would be a toss-up because his run was mind-blowing.

The WWA has a really good highlight on Instagram: Read More >
