ABOUT THE BOARD:
Advance your skills quicker with advanced shape technology. Creating a shape to take riders' skills to the next level was the goal behind the new State 2.0
Learning from other asymmetric designs, Hyperlite found that creating a shorter, but more effective edge on a rider's toeside made hard-to-learn wake jumps that much easier. This is because there is less rail to initiate when applying toeside pressure. Once set, the smoother toeside transition is then held by the State 2.0's thinner profile molded-in fin, creating less drag and a better release off the top of the wake. Subtle toeside footbed risers were also added to help riders create more leverage when pressure is applied. The longer, more traditional heelside edge compliments this asymmetric design by allowing the natural body position of a rider to generate stability and speed into the wake without a loss of pop due to reduced surface area. The State 2.0 has been tested and proven to be the best choice for riders looking to master the foundations of wakeboarding.
ABOUT THE BINDINGS:
No-nonsense function and comfort in a solid, traditional design, the Remix boot is a supportive, yet easy-to-get-into adjustable boot. It features dual lace zones like more expensive boots, but the plushness you've come to expect from an open toe binding. The 3D molded tongue provides maximum comfort with no sacrifice to board control. The Remix is an excellent choice for beginner to intermediate riders looking for a comfortable, user-friendly option.
ABOUT THE ROPE/HANDLE COMBO:
The Ambush Apex rope and handle combo features a round 29 mm stitched Ultrasuede handle with quilted EVA padding, 12" PVC-dipped molded end caps that are lightweight and reduce handle roll, a 4 mm lightweight no-stretch Dyneema leader line, PVC leader tubing to resist abrasion, a 15" T6-6061 light aluminum bar with built-in floats and a 65' 5-section Dyneema mainline (45'-5'-5'- 5' + 5' handle).
