ABOUT THE BOARD:
Rather than carrying a quiver with him on his travels, Shane prefers to bring one board that can handle any condition, and the Dose is just that board. Shane has been riding more park than boat as of late, so this board is made with more flex throughout than a typical boat board. This is especially true in the nose and tail of the board, which feature Liquid Rail flex zones that give the board a more sensitive feel on rails. The bottom is clean and without channels, and features a single-to-triple concave off the tips, which provides lots of speed around corners or into wakes. When Shane is riding behind that boat, he prefers to put on the quad fins that provide more stability and control. LF's Flex Track comes standard on this board, providing the ultimate control and feel while edging into the wake or tail pressing a flat bar.
ABOUT THE BINDINGS:
The Flex has the support you demand from a high-end binding, yet allows riders more maneuverability for really tweaking out grabs and pressing hard on rails. Add the 3-in-1 closure system and this bindings is also one of the most adjustable. This boot is the ultimate in high-performance flexibility.
ABOUT THE ROPE/HANDLE COMBO:
The Ambush Apex rope and handle combo features a round 29 mm stitched Ultrasuede handle with quilted EVA padding, 12" PVC-dipped molded end caps that are lightweight and reduce handle roll, a 4 mm lightweight no-stretch Dyneema leader line, PVC leader tubing to resist abrasion, a 15" T6-6061 light aluminum bar with built-in floats and a 65' 5-section Dyneema mainline (45'-5'-5'- 5' + 5' handle).
